Software experts help create the best thing since sliced bread

A Hawke’s Bay bakery reckons its new customised software is the best thing since sliced bread.

Award-winning baked goods company Heavens Bakery is already well established in Hawke’s Bay, and plans to have 10 franchise stores operating in the region in the next 12 months before going nationwide in 2010.

With serious expansion plans in mind, Heavens asked custom software development experts ABC Software to create an online ordering and factory production system to streamline their operations. Manually processing orders from multiple stores the old fashioned way is time consuming and prone to error.. The company also required an effective means of keeping all staff informed of new products and specials.

ABC Software’s managing director Sharon Chapman says it’s refreshing to see a company identifying the need for effective technology to make their business work. 

Heaven’s Bakery managing director Jason Heaven says they knew what they needed but  had no idea how to achieve it. ABC Software listened to them and came up with the perfect solution.
